Just right for non filtered oil.The only thing is that I will probably buy a glass bottle for this oil, the one with a dispenser/silicone top/pouring spout, something like that. I gave this 3 stars and I would rather give it 0 stars. This comes in a plastic bottle. Disappointing. I haven’t used it yet so I can’t give stats on the taste or texture. I make my own butter and this is one of the ingredients need. I’m always disappointed when something potentially healthy comes wrapped in PFAS.

Rancid oil received! The day I received the bottle of sunflower I had 9 months til expiration. It sat in my cool, dark pantry for one month only. I opened it yesterday, and discovered it was already quite rancid despite the expiration date. These things happen. We have no way of knowing how the the oil has been stored before shipping. But, was frustrated that the return window on this item is closed so quickly. Stuck with a $20 dollar, 2lb bottle of rancid oil to discard. Disappointing. Will not be ordering a Daana Farmer’s Network item again.

It is fairly difficult to find unrefined sunflower oil. This oil is so clear that at first I thought it was refined, but it does have a subtle, faintly sweet hint of sunflower seeds. It does not pack the punch that I was hoping for (I have been spoiled by nut oils), but will be fine for dressings.
